My name is Dr. Steia Williams, and I am a licensed clinical social worker and licensed psychology associate in Maryland and Virginia. I have a Master’s in social work and a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. I have over 8 years of experience in providing individual and couples therapy. I help clients struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship difficulties. I believe the actual process of change in therapy starts with the connection between the therapist and the client. Having worked with a wide range of clients, I developed a uniquely humanistic approach to treatment. I foster a safe, supportive environment for clients to feel comfortable bringing the most authentic version of themselves into therapy. It is through my connection with clients that I am able to identify key concerns and provide an individualized treatment plan that meets the specific needs of each client.
