I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LCSW), who mainly specializes in teen, adult, and family counseling. I also provide LGBT counseling and early childhood behavioral health services. During my interaction with clients, I often utilize empathy to form a secure, trusting, lighthearted relationship. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, therefore my role is to assist you in working towards solutions that benefit you in the best way possible. My methods include mindfulness practice, distress tolerance, and cognitive behavioral techniques to target depression, anxiety, and trauma. I provide a safe, warm, and welcoming environment in order to help my clients feel comfortable in expressing their themselves. I strive to create a creative, unorthodox approach by using humor in order to appeal to adolescence. I am also passionate about working with teen girls to alleviate common stressors such as peer pressure, interpersonal relationships, family issues, and self image. I will work to the best of my ability to guide you in achieving a healthier, more optimistic outlook on life.
