I’m a passionate social worker, musician, educator, and mother with a deep commitment to community wellness and cultural production. My work is grounded in compassion, and I draw from my background in crisis counseling, mental health, and case management to support individuals and families through life’s most challenging transitions. Empowering others is at the heart of everything I do.
My professional journey spans across social work, education, and the arts. Currently, I serve as an Outpatient Mental Health Provider at Therapy Cafe LLC, offering telehealth therapy services. I’m proud to provide accessible, culturally sensitive care to adults, youth, couples, families, and groups. My approach is rooted in emotional awareness, empathy, and a client-centered mindset.
In therapy, I use a range of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Expressive Arts. These methods allow me to help clients uncover their core beliefs and values, navigate conflict and change, and remain grounded as integrated, conscious beings. My background in education enables me to explain complex emotional and psychological concepts in ways that truly resonate with my clients. Whether in therapeutic or educational spaces, I strive to create an environment where people feel seen, heard, and supported on their path to growth.
Beyond therapy, my career has included roles in museum collections management, music education, and public speaking. I’ve taught Musicology and Sociology at the college level and currently serve as a licensed Kindermusik™ instructor at HeartBeats Practice Studio, where I also offer private performance lessons. In all areas of my work, I am guided by principles of inclusion, cultural sensitivity, and the transformative power of human connection and healthy decision-making.
