I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland. I obtained my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University. I have 10+ years experience in mental health to include working in inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum providing behavioral therapy. I have worked with a number of different populations and age groups ranging from toddler to geriatric. I have been working in St Mary’s County as a counselor in Emergency Psychiatric Services, and this has allowed me to expand my skills and experience with different approaches and techniques, as well as different diagnoses from acute to chronic mental health across the lifespan. I believe all individuals come from different walks of life with different experiences and have their own strengths that can be utilized during the therapeutic process. My approach to counseling is holistic and eclectic and I meet the individual where they are and adapt my approach to fit his/her needs.
