I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT). With all the opportunities and challenges life puts in front of us, it means a lot to have supportive people by your side. I value creating a relaxed and open therapeutic space to safely process things in a respectful manner without judgement. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process; I assist my clients in increasing their self-awareness and personal strengths so that they can gain new perspectives, decrease their symptoms, and have a more meaningful life experience.
My style of therapy is both holistic and eclectic; I use my resources and experience to build an individualized treatment plan that meets clients’ needs based on their goals, hurdles, strengths, and interests. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches and interventions including Family Systems, Client-Centered, Strengths Based, Narrative, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
I specialize in working with clients from Adolescence through Adulthood as well as with Couples and Families. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, decreased self-image, life transition/adjustment challenges, grief/loss, relationship/family conflict, and parenting challenges.
