Art Therapy uses the creative process of art to improve and enhance the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of children, adolescents, and adults. This approach can assist clients in resolving conflicts and problems, developing interpersonal skills, expressing feelings, reducing stress, enhancing self-esteem, and achieving greater self-awareness and insight. Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses various techniques, such as drawing, painting, sculpting, or collage. Individuals do not need to have artistic ability or a special talent to benefit from art therapy and people of all ages, including children, teens, and adults can benefit from it.
